2004 feasibility study

During 2004, Rodger Sellers traveled almost 36,000 miles through 40 states to visit many emerging / emergent communities.

Living out of his camper, while "on the road," his research led to the submission of both a final feasibility study and New Church Development proposal to Charlotte Presbytery. That proposal was adopted by the Presbytery at its meeting on September 21, 2004, making The Portico the latest New Church Development of Charlotte Presbytery, and the first Presbyterian (USA) emerging / emergent community in this area.

The links in the adjacent column reflect the research he conducted while visiting these communities all over the U.S.
